Sheila Lou "Sissy"  Kuhns
Sheila “Sissy” Lou Kuhns, 70 passed peacefully Friday, December 29, 2017 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester. Born May 20, 1947 in, Fort Wayne, she was a daughter to the late Charles H. Kuhns and Mildred (Wheeldon) Kuhns. Sheila was born into the world with snow white hair and lived her life through the eyes of a child. She was an inspiration to all as she greeted everyone with a warm smile. She endured many heath challenges but was always happy to tell you a Bible story, help fold Church bulletins or visit with family.

Sheila loved teddy bears, bunnies, painting ceramics, playing the organ, board games, Uno and Rummy card games, and always reading her Bible. She accomplished reading the entire Bible in her lifetime. As a child she attended the school of the deaf and as an adult she attended the Lakeland Church of the deaf.

Sheila is survived by her brother, Roy (Gina) Kuhns; brother-in-law, Dennis Bradley; nieces, Amanda (Bret) Lorenc, Laura (Mark) Isard and Melissa (Steve) Reba; nephew, Shawn (Jenn) Tinkham; great nieces and nephews, Luke, Kasia, Kia, Ella, Michael, Charlie, Katie, Samuel, Jackson and Sophia.

Sheila was preceded in death also by a sister, Jacqueline Sue (Kuhns) Bradley.

Private services were held for the family and she was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens with her parents.
