Jason B. Strup, 45, died Monday, December 4, 2017. After he graduated from high school, he then went on to Ball State. He had received a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems. Jason worked for Sirva Inc. for almost 10 years and recently Biomet. Jason was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the Cubs, Steelers, Pittsburg Penguins and Florida State Seminoles. He loved the outdoors and you could find him out on Jeep Trail.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Strup of Columbia City; daughters, Alivia and Megan; father, Mike Strup of Columbia City; grandma, Donna Morrissey of Fort Wayne; brother, Shane (Claudia) Strup of San Diego, California; niece, Cassandra; nephew, Gavin; and uncle, Mike (Cathy) Morrissey of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann (Morrissey) Strup, on March 28, 2014; brother, Ryan Strup, on May 5, 2014; grandpa, Elmer “Red” Morrissey; and grandma, Norma Leupp.

Celebration of Jason’s Life will be 6 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Calling will be from 2-6 p.m., Sunday. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the girls education fund.
