Sharon W. Wellman, 78, passed Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the only child of Edward and Frances “Irene” (Niles) Wooldridge. She had retired from Magnavox and was a member of the Coburn Corners Church of Christ.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry Wayne Wellman of Auburn; six children, Scott (Donna) Wellman of Plymouth, Michigan, Gary (Bettina) Wellman of Auburn, Brenda (Roger) Baeumler of Monroeville, Cathy (Wayne) Deardorf of Fort Wayne, Nancy (Mike Petek) Wellman of North Judson and David (Jennifer) Wellman of Lake Stevens, Washington; 15 grandchildren, Paul, Brittany, Justin, Bryan, Brandon, Jacob, Megan, Grace, Aaron, Leticia, Ciersten, Leah, Cendra, Evan and Emma; and 4 great grandchildren, Aiden, Brooklyn, Kaylee and Brayden.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Lynn Heart will be officiating. Calling is also 5-8 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Dekalb Animal Shelter.
