Janet Sue (Becker) Beck, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed Monday, August 7, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Janet was born in Kendallville, Indiana on September 2, 1942 to the late Earl Becker and Betty J (Easterday) Johoski.

Janet retired from Olan Mills where she worked as a sales agent, however, Janet worked for many years with Captain Alexander’s Wharf and Mooraker Restaurants and as cashier/bookkeeper. She also earned Emeritus status as a Luzier Cosmetics consultant. Janet resided at Miller’s Merry Manor for more than 18 years. There she had been President of Resident Council for several years and loved playing cards with the other residents.

Janet is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Innis of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Michelle (Richard) Hornsby of Loganville, Georgia; five grandsons, Derek (Elizabeth) Douglas of Buford, Georgia, Joseph Innis of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Casey Innis of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Mitchell Hornsby of Loganville, Georgia and Jonathan Hornsby of Loganville, Georgia; and one great granddaughter, Reece Douglas.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Warren E. Becker of Albion.

There are no calling or services. Janet was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
